Tried and Tested: Let's Get Cheeky!

FACE YOGA THAT WORKS

Nobody understands the value of a perfectly shaped face quite like artist do, especially makeup artist. After salivating over pictures of Kate Moss's cheek bones I decided, there had to be something I could do! Enter the wonderful world of Youtube.

I have tried this over the past 3 weeks and WOW! This seriously works! My cheeks have gotten bigger and stronger and I have noticed a change in my face shape that looks more sculpted and lean. Seriously, you HAVE to try this! The video may seem a bit funny, trust me I'm a cynic, but try it! It will cost you 2 minutes per day and is totally worth every second!

Try this: Rather than puffing from side-to-side continuously, hold breath on one side for 10 seconds then shift air to other side and repeat. I feel my cheeks working harder this way, as funny as that sounds!

Double Trouble--Solved!

This may seem really weird, but because double chins run in my family, I became obsessed with chin exercises when I was young. I was afraid I would be one of the lucky ones to inherit this wonderful gene, lo and behold, I actually ended up with three little ones! Just kidding. Jokes aside, chin exercise may sound funny and you may be skeptical, but these work! I've only been doing them for a week and I noticed a huge difference! I highly recommend giving these a try!

A Cheekier You

Yaay! My first Tutorial!

Please excuse the fact that it was 2AM in Dubai and I had no makeup on! :) enjoy!

Step by step instructions:
1.Start by covering the area with foundation, I used Studio Fix Fluid Foundation from MAC in NC43
2. From the area above your cheekbones apply a significantly lighter foundation or concealer, like MAC Mouisturecover (NW20), make sure this is warm even if you are olive
3. Using the 187 brush from MAC, set everything in with the Mineralize SkinFinish Natural Powder from MAC (Medium Dark)
4. Using the MAC 188 brush, powder the cheeks with a lighter shade of powder, I used the Sculpting Kit from Makeup Forever
in 4
5. Next use the dark color from the sculpting kit to define cheekbones, use the 187 brush to blend out the area on top making it appear smooth
6. ApplyMAC blush to the apple of the cheeks using a blush brush

Finish by blending any unsmooth areas with the 187 brush and add highlighter if desired
