Amazing Product Alert! Elnett Hairspray

Terrified of hairspray? Well, you may not be the only one. I noticed that anytime I pull a can of hairspray out of my makeup kit, people give the I-will pop-you-if-you-think-you're-getting-near-me-with-that-can look. While, I understand their pain, I simply cannot avoid using hairspray at times. Thank God there was a genius at L'Oreal who invented this amazing product! Elnett Satin Hairspray is by far the most revolutionary hairspray that gives you extra hold, but brushes out like it was never there. This product has been featured in European versions of Elle, Vogue, and other beauty and fashion magazines and has been the premier choice of fashion weeks all over Europe. Even long before it was released in the states, it was paraded in almost beauty bible--yes, it was torture waiting for it to hit stateside! Available at almost every pharmacy and grocery store in Dubai and now available at Target in the states, everyone can get their high fashion without the stiffness of most hairsprays! Definitely a must have!!

From Platinum to Silver? Kate Moss Goes Gray!!

Well the news it out, gray is here to stay! Indeed, we saw gray streaks all over the runway, and now that Kate Moss has died her blond locks silver, it's confirmed! But is it appealing? On the runway, exaggerated hair, makeup, clothes---AMAZING and a total necessity. In real life, not so much. My personal thoughts, designers are geniuses who have crystal balls into the fashion future. Sometimes we hate their ideas, but 6 months later we are obsessed! For the gray streaks, I'm not ruling it out. I think it has to be done very carefully. There is a fine line between looking fashionable and looking old.

I thought this quote from New York Magazine was very interesting and although controversial, it has a good point:

"First the industry — Karl Lagerfeld included — embraces plus-size models as high-fashion models, and now gray hair is all the rage. What will be hot next? Wrinkles and saggy cleavage? Cellulite? If so, probably not in the everyday sense. If designers one day decide to make dimpled flesh the next big thing, of course they won't hire normal women who actually have it to model their clothes. They'll send models down the runway in panty hose filled with rice or something."

Wanted: Long, Thick, Beautiful Hair

Ever notice too many strands falling in the shower? Want to add vibrance to hair that is rough and lifeless? You could find the answers to all of these questions closer than you think, try your kitchen.

Herbs that perform miracles

Aloe:

Aloe contains Aloenin, which stimulates hair growth and also acts as a mild conditioner for hair follicles. Not to mention it helps soothe the scalp and feels great!

Rosemary:

Rosemary’s potent chemicals help fight dandruff, improve shine, and encourage hair growth. Think that isn’t enough? It also helps combat premature graying!

Marigold:

Transform dull hair into vibrant healthy locks with marigold while harmonizing oily, dry, or fine hair.

Nettles:

This herb likes to get to the "root" of the problem. It's biggest perk? Fighting the production enzyme responsible for hair loss.

Creating a Herbal Rinse

Ingredients:

2 tablespoon dried herb
4 cups boiling water
1 teaspoon vinegar

Instructions:

Place herb in large pitcher and pour water on top
Let mixture sit 20 minutes
Strain juice and add vinegar
Let mixture sit until comfortable temperature to rinse
Follow conditioning, no need to wash rinse out
